Secrets of True Happiness eBook Tai Sheridan Reviews

As a buddhist from birth and a continue living as buddhist, this book is so true to buddhist living in a plain and simple way. It is easy to read but wise enough to make you realize about yourself. We talk openly about anger, death, etc because it is a natural thing in life. Moreover, you don't need to pay for it to get something wise about life -- in fact, you already know but may look away.
Such simple yet profound lessons on how to accept what life will throw at you. I like to read this book when I feel stressed because it reminds me that I can’t control everything and I’m not meant to. We need to accept some things as truths and try to be the best person we can be. I consider myself Christian but still enjoy the teachings and philosophy of Buddha in Blue Jeans.
I have been down, not enjoying life or my family. So I decided to look for inspiration. How can I be happy. It seemed like such a foreign concept. I read through this short book and found some inspirations. They are simple concepts that make a strong impact on your life and relationships. They are also very easily over looked by people like me. Now I just have find a way to implement them into my life.
sheridan's poetry is childlike and real; plus I've never read a better self-help book. His acceptance of reality is liberating, and his insistence on our just being our true selves is so refreshing. It is damn hard to be depressed reading him. Yea, I wanna be a Buddha in blue jeans!
I thank Tai for sharing with us his love thoughout his books. It helps to make a better world. Thank you.
This was e a bad rip off from the secret. If you like that sort of thing, just read the secret. The book was really short and not at all helpful. I'm not sure what the author was trying to communicate with this book, but I found it a waste of storage space on my kindle.
These are a very interesting collection of separate thoughts in the form of short poem. There are feelings such as anger and pride, there are others such as time, change and uncertainty. They are not very coherent as if Tai just wrote whatever he happened to be thinking or wanting to write about.
While the content is inetresting, the title is a bit too big for the content. This big title should contain more sharing, more examples and more insights about why some people are happy and some are not, what creates happiness what does not, how to be happy, how to be not so happy.
